The challenge
An international airport's air-traffic-control and communication/navigation/surveillance (CNS) systems cannot lose power unnoticed. Each airport needed continuous, centralized visibility into the electrical health of this critical infrastructure - with live alarms the instant something drifts - instead of manual checks or isolated device readouts. And the solution had to be repeatable, deployable from one airport to the next.
Continuity
ATC and CNS power cannot fail silently - visibility has to be constant, centralized and instant.
Alarming
Operators needed live alarms the moment electrical health drifts, not periodic manual checks.
Repeatability
The platform had to be a deployable product, standing up cleanly from one airport to the next.
What we built
A centralized power-monitoring SCADA platform, deployed at two international airports - the same system, proven and re-deployed - each capability answering a specific operational stake above.
- ◆Data-acquisition serviceA .NET Windows service that continuously collects live electrical readings from field devices.
- ◆Monitoring web applicationAn ASP.NET Core dashboard presenting the data as live dashboards, alarms and reports for control-room operators.
- ◆A single source of truthBoth components share one SQL Server database per site, giving a real-time and historical picture of electrical health across the facility.
- ◆Repeatable by designThe same platform stood up at Navi Mumbai and Bhogapuram, proving it's a deployable product, not a one-off.
The stack
Industrial-grade software on a hardware foundation - delivered jointly with Spectrum Technology.
Delivery model: Spectrum handles the hardware and field integration; Silex builds the software, SCADA/HMI and dashboards. The same blue-chip partnership behind BPCL, Indian Railways and both airport projects - which is how a senior ~15-person software team delivers hardware-integrated systems at national scale.
Results
Live at two international airports - Navi Mumbai and Bhogapuram (Alluri Sitarama Raju International) - the platform gives operators continuous, centralized monitoring of critical airport electrical infrastructure, with real-time dashboards and immediate alarms on power-health events.
Why it matters
Monitoring the critical power behind air-traffic and navigation systems - at not one but two international airports - is about as high-stakes as software gets. It's the credibility that reassures any serious buyer: if the aviation sector trusts Silex here, it can trust us anywhere. That is the same discipline Silex brings to a B2B ordering platform or a retail stack - engineered to your business, owned by you, and supported for the long run.
